PARENTS’PEDAGOGIZATION ON THE QUESTIONSOF THE CHILD’S AESTHETIC EDUCATION IN THE FAMILY ON THE PAGES OF PEDAGOGICALPERIODICALSOF THE END OF THE XIXTH – THE BEGINNING OF THE XXTH CENTURY

Abstract


The article analyzed some periodicals of the end of the XIXth – the beginning of the XXth century on the questions of the child’s aesthetic education in the  family; through the in-depth analysis of pedagogical periodicals of that time, the significance of the mother’s role in the child’s aesthetic education is revealed; the ways of parents’ pedagogization on the child’s aesthetic education in the family are determined (in particular, methods and means of the aesthetic education at home are defined). Known pedagogues and psychologists who have published recommendations for parents about the selection of children’s books at the defined period are named.  Various respondents’ reviews on the work of V.P. Ostrogorsky “Letters about aesthetic education” are considered. The article also stressed the importance and the significance of the spiritual atmosphere in the family for the formation of various children’s experiences. Further, the publication presented the titles of the most famous journals  of that time with a great number of materials on the role of fairy tales in the  child’s life, on the assessment of those tales, which had been produced by the publisher;  There are the names of some useful for the child Ukrainian fairy tales, given as an example. There is also the list of several European international congresses of that time on family education in the article.
