EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF PERSONAL POTENTIAL OF STUDENTS OF ECONOMIC SPECIALTIES (SOCIONIC APPROACH).

Abstract


The author describes her experimental work on identification of personal potential of students of economic specialties using the methods of socionics. The experimental work was to provide students with the basics of socionics, the concept of professional orientation of a person; identification of students’ psychological type; grouping them according to their activity type mindset; determination of the strengths of their individual potential and motivation to the chosen profession; revealing of connection between motivation and a student’s particular psychological type; revealing of existence of personally significant qualities for the selected areas of training. On the basis of the study, the author reveals the tendency that economic specialties are selected by students of a particular psychological types, suggests that in universities with competitive selection, a large part of students choose specialties in accordance with strong function of their psychological type. The author offers the most efficient and effective forms and methods of training based on the competencies (requirements to future economists), their strong personal qualities (socionic functions), as a basis for formation of competence and typological features of didactic learning environment.
