СЛОВОТВОРЧІ МОЖЛИВОСТІ ІНШОМОВНИХ ЕКОНОМІЧНИХ ТЕРМІНІВ

Анотація

У статті досліджено причини появи запозичень в українській економічній терміносистемі. Проаналізовані різні позиції щодо впливу іншомовних запозичень, що можуть призводити не лише до збагачення термінології, а й до невпорядкованості термінів. Підкреслена позитивна роль термінів-англіцизмів у формуванні економічної термінології, оскільки вони змінюють зміст традиційних понять сфери «економіка», не просто замінюючи старі слова неологізмами, а й збагачуючи понятійний зміст економічних термінів загалом.

The aim of the article is the systematization and identification of the specifics of linguistic transformations that provide for the internationalization of the vocabulary of the modern Ukrainian economic terminology. The main task is to determine the word-forming productivity of the borrowed terms and the degree of assimilation of English-language economic terms in the Ukrainian language. The discussion about the appropriateness, positive or negative role of using foreign words in the terminological system continues in our time, and, therefore, it is always relevant for linguists. The article studies the reasons for the appearance of borrowings in the Ukrainian economic terminology. There analyzed different points of view concerning the influence of foreign borrowings, which can lead not only to enrichment of terminology but to disorder in terms as well. The positive role of the terms-Anglicisms in the formation of economic terminology is underlined, since they not only replace the old words with neologisms but also enrich the conceptual content of economic terms in general. Thus, there are different points of view concerning the definition of terms presented by international words in the modern Ukrainian economic terminology. It is advisable not to take to an excessive use of foreign language terms, since the possibility of an absolutely complete and accurate transfer of the contents of an original word in the translation of economic texts is limited by differences in the linguistic systems.
