ПОТЕНЦІАЛ ПРОНОМІНАЛІЗОВАНИХ МОВНИХ ОДИНИЦЬ У ВИРАЖЕННІ КАТЕГОРІЇ ОЗНАЧЕНОСТІ/НЕОЗНАЧЕНОСТІ

Анотація

У статті досліджено прономіналізовані мовні одиниці, зокрема числівник один та іменники, які активно використовують у текстах суспільно-політичного дискурсу для вираження категорійних значень означеності/неозначеності. Виявлено основні семантичні блоки цих одиниць, окреслено їхній функційний потенціал та виявлено типові моделі процесу прономіналізації. Визначено, що прономіналізований числівник один має широкий значеннєвий спектр і може виступати засобом вираження як означеності, так і неозначеності. Прономіналізовані іменники набувають узагальненого значення, тому переважно оформлюють категорійне значення неозначеності.

The category of definiteness/indefiniteness is explored just a little in modern Ukrainian, its exploring needs the use of the philosophical, pragmatic, cognitive and communicative aspects. Most linguists think that it has the structure of the functional-semantic field with various-level system of express means. The potential of the pronominalized language units in the expression of the category of definiteness/ indefiniteness is still unexplored, so it forms the idea of the article. This idea marks the execution of such tasks: 1) to reveal the semantic connotations of the pronominalized numeral one as the bearer of the category signs of the definiteness/indefiniteness, and establish the environments of its productive functioning in the role as the article; 2) to delineate the function range of the pronominalized nouns. The review of text material demonstrates, that the numeral one loses quite often its primary function of the designation of quantity, but can definitely or indefinitely refers to something, serve for entry of the new information, its actualization or increasing. The pronominalized nouns acquire mainly generalized-indeterminate mean, lose the semantic expressiveness, by using as the facultative units, and in individual cases become excess elements of the statement. It makes the perspective to explore the potential of other pronominalized language units as express means of the category of definiteness/indefiniteness.
