Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be willing to demand an exorbitant fee for Harry Kane. If owner Daniel Levy is serious about getting his star player out of White Hart Lane, he needs to secure the highest possible price.

Manchester United are said to have a good relationship with the 29-year-old England captain, and could potentially sign him this summer. However, they are reported not willing to match Tottenham Hotspurs' asking price of PS100m.

Tottenham will demand an astronomical fee for Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur are a football club that competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English football. As part of the London Football Association, they are based in North London's Tottenham district.

Harry Kane has three years left on his contract at Tottenham and it appears he may leave the club at the end of this season if there isn't a resolution reached regarding his future there. Manchester United and Manchester City have both been linked with him, however it's unlikely they can match Spurs' asking price of around PS200m for him.

Daniel Levy has made it abundantly clear that he does not wish to sell Harry Kane and will not budge from his asking price of PS140 million. If Man City were to up their offer significantly, however, Levy may consider parting with the striker.

Manchester United will struggle to match the asking price

Tottenham are expected to demand an exorbitant fee for Harry Kane this summer. The England captain will turn 30 in July and has just one year left on his contract at the London club.

Though Manchester United are said to be interested in signing him, TEAMtalk transfer expert Graeme Bailey believes the club will struggle to match their asking price.

Tottenham are likely to demand an offer of at least PS100m before allowing their star striker to leave the club. Given the current financial state of English leagues and Tottenham's own difficulties, any bids below this amount seem unlikely.

Reports indicate Manchester United are looking to bolster their attack this summer and have been linked with Tottenham's Harry Kane. However, Football Insider reports United would need to shell out around PS100m plus two stars in order to secure the England international.

Chelsea’s bid for Romelu Lukaku is a good sign for Spurs

Romelu Lukaku is a player Tottenham would be keen to acquire. He's an exciting striker with great finishing ability and great ball control. Tottenham would be well served by signing him.

Lukaku is currently on loan at Everton and has done a remarkable job of establishing himself there this season, scoring 11 times across all competitions. If Spurs were looking to bolster their attack this summer, Lukaku would be an ideal addition.

Chelsea are unlikely to sell their star forward for less than what his wages will cover. That is why Chelsea are believed to be in talks with Inter Milan regarding a loan move for the Belgium international.

Last summer, Lukaku moved from Inter to Chelsea in a club-record deal and has struggled to make an impact under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. Reports indicate his relationship with Tuchel has soured, leading to him rarely featuring in the first-team this season as Tuchel preferred Kai Havertz through the middle of the pitch instead.

Real Madrid are lying in wait

Real Madrid have yet to reach out to Tottenham about signing England striker Harry Kane. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish giants are not actively seeking a deal for the forward and have not made contact with Tottenham yet.

Though ideally the English star would need to move to the iconic Santiago Bernabeu stadium in order to become its heir apparent, it appears unlikely that he will make this switch.

With England captain Harry Kane entering his final year at Tottenham, it is expected that he will choose to stay. This would put Spurs in an advantageous position when negotiating a fee for Kane.

But Real Madrid could offer the better option for the England star. They are a top club and have won the Champions League each of their last two seasons - an award which should be on his bucket list.

Kane is an intelligent player, capable of dropping into midfield and receiving the ball from there. His vision and ability to pick out runners ahead of him gives him great space for goal scoring opportunities on a regular basis.
