The Football League Championship is the second tier of English football and last competition before promotion to the Premier League. The top two teams and winners of each semi-final (home and away) compete in a play-off tournament for promotion.

On Wednesday night, Sky will broadcast all six Championship games live for free on their app and Red Button. Plus, enjoy live commentary throughout the evening!

Leicester City v Burnley

Leicester City (opens in new tab) will look for their first victory of the season when they host relegation-threatened Burnley on Wednesday night. They hope to improve upon their dismal record at Turf Moor, where they haven't won since December.

Burnley are in desperate need of a win, having lost four out of their last six Premier League matches. After suffering an embarrassing 4-0 loss at Tottenham on Sunday, they will be eager to bounce back and move out of the relegation zone if they beat Leicester City.

Leicester are without Harvey Barnes and Jonny Evans, but should have James Maddison available. Rodgers may also start Kelechi Iheanacho or Jamie Vardy in place of injured Ayoze Perez, Wesley Fofana and Dennis Praet.

Hull City v Derby County

On Wednesday night, Sky will broadcast all six Championship games including Hull City's trip to Pride Park. Derby County are looking to bounce back after their 1-0 loss at home against Preston North End while Hull are still searching for their third straight victory.

Wayne Rooney has led the Rams to an incredible start this season despite their financial issues, and they will be hoping to avoid relegation. At second from bottom and seven points away from safety, they remain optimistic.

Sky Sports Football and Main Event will air the game, starting at 7.45pm. For NOW TV monthly subscribers, live coverage can also be accessed via The Red Button.

Burnley v Swansea City

On Wednesday, Sky will broadcast all six Championship matches live, including the titanic battle between Hull City and Burnley as well as Birmingham City versus Queens Park Rangers. Elsewhere, Plymouth Argyle takes on Exeter City while Bristol City faces Swansea City in televised action.

The Clarets have won four of their last five league games and drawn one, giving them plenty of confidence going into Saturday's match against Swansea.

Burnley have made three changes to their squad, with Jay Rodriguez, Nathan Tella and Anass Zaroury returning after coming off the bench against Stoke City.

Burnley have enjoyed a dominant home record against Swansea this season, winning seven of their last nine meetings. Additionally, they boast the best home record in the Championship with 14 victories and eight draws this season.

Derby County v Sunderland

On Wednesday night, all six Championship games are live on Sky and Sunderland are hoping to rekindle their push for safety against local rivals by beating Derby. Chris Coleman's side have lost each of their last two matches but remain just five points off safety with eight matches left; a win against Derby would help put them back on track and put them five points clear with eight matches left to play.

This game will be remembered by supporters of both teams as there will be a moment of silence before kick-off for Bradley Lowery, the young Sunderland fan who passed away this month. As an inspiring and brave tribute, players and fans alike will pay their respects before the start line.

Swansea City v Middlesbrough

On Wednesday evening, all six Championship games will be broadcast live on Sky. Wigan Athletic takes on Coventry City at 7.45pm and four other matches - Blackpool vs QPR, Millwall vs Swansea, Rotherham United vs Preston North End and Watford vs Birmingham City - begin simultaneously at the same time.

Middlesbrough are currently only 7 points off second place and can secure a promotion play-off spot with a win against Swansea. Boro have scored more goals than anyone else in the division, while Swansea have only managed one league win in 11 games.
