МИСТИЦИЗМ В ПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЯХ МАССОВОЙ КУЛЬТУРЫ

Анотація

У статті аналізуються прояви і образи містицизму в творах сучасної масової культури. Показано, що містицизм як явище релігійно-філософське завжди сусідив з містицизмом художньо-літературним. В даний час місце останнього міцно зайнято містицизмом «маскультурним». Популярності останнього сприяє притаманна західній, заснованій на протестантизмі культурі, тяга до пошуку духовного шляху, який повинен привести до спасіння і душевної гармонії. Продемонстровано, що важливе місце в маскультурних інтерпретаціях містицизму займає неусвідомлена тяга до ініціації, які раніше грали важливу роль в становленні здорової психіки.

В статье анализируются проявления и образы мистицизма  в произведениях современной массовой культуры. Показано, что мистицизм как явление религиозно-философское всегда соседствовал с мистицизмом художественно-литературным. В настоящее время место последнего прочно занято мистицизмом «масскультурным». Популярности такового способствует присущая западной, основанной на протестантизме культуре тяга к поиску духовного пути, который должен привести к спасению и душевной гармонии. Продемонстрировано, что важное место в масскультурных интерпретациях мистицизма занимает неосознанная тяга к инициациям, которые ранее играли важную роль в становлении здоровой психики.

The article analyzes the manifestations and images of mysticism in the works of modern mass culture. Mysticism (mysticism) is traditionally defined as a religious-idealistic view of reality, based on belief in supernatural forces. If initially it was the occupation of the intellectual elite, then, beginning with the twentieth century, mysticism more and more penetrates into the mass consciousness. It is shown that mysticism as a religious and philosophical phenomenon always coexisted with artistic and literary mysticism. Mystical motives have developed in a special way in such a direction as romanticism. At present, the place of mysticism of the literary and artistic is firmly engaged in mysticism "mass culture". The spectrum of mystical teachings, addressed by the creators of the masscult, is wide enough and extends from Pythagoreanism and the druid doctrine to the doctrines of Freemasons and Rosicrucians. Depending on the tasks and talent of the author / authors, the elements of the esoteric teachings can be both deep enough and of exceptional importance. When creating a mystical entourage, emblems and symbols borrowed from other, "exotic" cultures, are very popular. The popularity of mysticism in popular culture is promoted by the inherent tendency of the Western, Protestant-based culture to seek a spiritual path that should lead to salvation and spiritual harmony. It is demonstrated that an important place in the mass cultural interpretations of mysticism is the unconscious attraction to initiations, which previously played an important role in the development of a healthy psyche. The connection between the mass culture and the mass consciousness is obviously two-sided: on the one hand, certain popular works popularize certain mystical teachings, on the other hand, the authors turn to those of them that are guaranteed to resonate in the society.
