Her rise to fame and fortune through a medium that was not very well known and also ignored many puzzles in Nigeria.

Family (married, husband)

Linda Ikeji was born on Linda Ifeoma Ikeji19. September 1980. She is the second of seven children from her parents, who come from Nkwerre, a government district in the southeastern state of Imo, Nigeria.

Like many other families in the region, Linda grew up in a Christian Catholic home that experienced a lot of financial instability. At the age of ten, she started writing fictional short stories as a hobby.

In addition to her talent for storytelling, she loved covering news and was intrigued by interviews. This prompted her to graduate from the University of Lagos with a degree in mass communication. But unfortunately for her, she was allowed to study the English language.

She started her university at the age of 19 and due to her family’s struggles, she was financially self-sufficient. She worked in various professions as a waitress, occasionally as a bailiff, and as a model.

You can tell of her hard work and self-confidence, her posture, and her great presentation skills, her keen sense of dressing, and, above all, her beauty, which she highlighted as a model.

However, modeling was not paying well in Nigeria at the time. Linda saw it as a kind of job that she could do to support herself and help herself through school instead of getting involved in jobs that "take away her dignity."

Linda Modeling Agency

After graduating from college, Linda started her own modeling agency, Black Dove Communications, a name coined and inspired by Silverbird.

The business wasn’t as profitable as she’d hoped it would be, and when she turned to blogging she devoted herself fully and made the most of it.

Today Linda is a self-made multimillionaire who makes her money without any form of corruption, dishonesty, or deception, as is common with a number of ladies these days.

As we already know, not all success stories are slick, and Linda is no exception. Her "sudden rise to fame" was, as some would see, never suddenly, her journey full of hardship, financial instability, and of course, as a pretty young girl, distractions. But it’s amazing how she struggled with determination and focus.

She started blogging in November 2006, when Nigeria’s internet access was the lowest and at a time when few people blogged about their personal life and families.

One could tell about her small beginnings as she is never tired of telling her story about how she borrowed money to go to cybercafes and blog. That was the beginning of the Linda Ikeji blog.

Since its inception first in 2006 and fully inThe 2007 Linda Ikeji blog has grown into a well-known blog across Africa.

Initially started as a gossip blog, which was the first of its kind in Nigeria at the time, "LIB", as it is famous, has developed into the focus of entertainment and reports on news and events in and around Africa and beyond. Lifestyle and fashion stories are also covered.

Thousands of people across the continent sneak into their blog every day. Nigerians overseas also visit the blog for detailed information on what is going on in and around their home country.

Linda Ikeji Blog is currently number 20 on the Alexa rankings in Nigeria and 1,736 worldwide.

She has one of the most active blogs in the country, and her social media is growing by the thousands every day. She currently has more than 750,000 on Twitter, over 36,000 likes on Facebook and over 52,000 followers on Instagram.

Following the success of her blog, Linda Ikeji has launched a social network called Linda Ikeji Social. She said the idea came to her when she met fans who told her they only visited two locations; LIB and Facebook.

That led them to create something that encompassed what both sites had to offer. The network platform uses the domain name LindaIkejiSocial.com.

On the first day of its introduction, over 50,000 people had registered. Their strategy for the website was very attractive as it promised to pay users a percentage based on the number of their followers and the ads placed on their page. She also said that she would buy the users’ content/stories based on their originality.

Linda has made a lot of fortune through blogging. Linda Ikeji’s net worth is estimated at around N 3.2 billion.

With so much money you don’t expect to live with her not wastefully. She has spent more than N50 million on cars for herself and other family members.

That complements their garage, which was already equipped with a 2008 Toyota Camry and an Infinity FX 35 SUV.

She also purchased two new homes, a five-bedroom duplex for her parents in Surulere and a seven-bedroom villa on the island for herself for over N $ 300 million.

Controversy

Linda Ikeji has violent clashes with people who feel like she is going too far to invade her personal life. These people include famous Nigerian figures such as Wizkid, Olamide, Yvonne Nelson, and many more.

One particular incident that stood out was when she was accused of stealing content, which resulted in her blog being removed by Google in 2014.

After Linda solved the problem, she returned stronger and even expanded her business. She has recruited journalists whose job it will be to provide more exclusive content for her blog.

Philanthropy / Achievements

Linda Ikeji is very involved in philanthropic activities. She is especially happy when she supports young girls aged 18 to 26 who have great business ideas and are ready to venture into entrepreneurship.

Through their project under the motto; "I prefer to do it myself, no thanks." Linda gave a grand total of N10,000,000 to various girls to start their projects.

She has also cared for her siblings in entrepreneurship. In fact, one of her siblings, Laura, now has a fashion blog called heylauraikeji.blogspot.com.

Linda has five sisters and one brother. They are Vera, Sandra, Laura, Peks, Benita, and Edna.

The multimillionaire blogger is not married and, as far as we know, no one is with anyone at the moment.

There used to be rumors that she dated CoolFM host Dan Foster and then well-known director and producer Aquilla Njamah.

Linda always pointed out on her blog that she wanted to get married so she could finally have sex. She has even gone so far as to list the attributes of her dream man. This includes a man who has respect for women, is willing to support their work, and has a job.
