Linda Ikeji is a famous blogger in Nigeria who in 2013 made it onto the list of Forbes influential bloggers which is no easy feat!

She started blogging when she was 17 years old with no background in journalism or writing experience.
Today, she has over 3 million followers on Facebook where she posts almost daily.
With so many people following her work, Linda has been able to make a living for herself by running the blog as well as taking advertisements from various companies.
She has been able to launch her own beauty line as well as a clothing line via print on demand.
She was also named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in 2014 and awarded an honorary doctorate from Babcock University.
Linda continues to work hard to provide her readers with the latest posts and information on entertainment news.
She has been in the spotlight for her success and achievements as an entrepreneur while being one of Nigeria's most successful bloggers to date.
Her blog began when she had just finished school with no further ideas about what career path to take until she discovered blogging.
Blogger Linda Ikeji published a story earlier today on a covenant university student who allegedly committedsuicide but she took the story down almost immediately though it had already gone viral.
Covenant university students were kinda angry with the report so they took to twitter and vented out their anger via #lindalies and it is presently trending on twitter.
There they said all sort....see some of the tweets...
Meanwhile Linda has also reacted to the trend, see her reply after cut too...
Linda's reply...the "But CU students, why #Lindalies? why not use my full name #Lindaikejilies so pple know y'all are talking abt me? Once again, I apologize :-)" further sparked up the er-mm fire but Linda tendered another apology.

Few times she gets wrong news, most times, she doesn't. Accept it and move on.
Initially, they suspected a black dude as the Boston bomber, US police, CNN etc apologised and moved on when they found the real bombers. On the other hand, Nigerians use all the bad words in the world just to prove their point all because she made a mistake? She probably thought her source was reliable but oops it was a mistake. She has apologised.
Nigerians should learn to be calm. The insults are mainly because some Nigerians are pained because she earns a lot of money from blogging. LOL.
